With a 10Gbps transmission speed for both channels, the USB 3.2 rate will be doubled compared to the current USB-C cable and will give transfer speed up to 20Gbps. USB 3.0 Promoter Group said that with the use of USB 3.2 host and USB 3.2 storage device, you can achieve 2GB/sec data transfer speed. In addition, USB 3.2 is also compatible with its older versions.

In addition to multi channel support, USB 3.2 continues to use the SuperSpeed USB layer data rate and coding technology to introduce updates to the hub specification for seamless conversion between single and dual channel operations. More information on USB 3.2 will be announced later this year at the USB Developer Conference.
