Netflix has grown in popularity over the past few years. Founded in 1997 as a movie rental service, in 2007 Netflix launched its app as we know it today for streaming shows and movies online.  In recent years, Netflix has grown tremendously in popularity. And, of course, when governments across the world imposed lockdowns, the pandemic-fueled growth in subscribers has continued to surge. Although Netflix’s streaming service is a bit pricey, in 2020 alone, it added 16 million new subscribers. People had access to streaming websites earlier but laziness and a little knowledge about torrenting were a few reasons they started paying for Netflix subscription.  However, not everyone can afford the premium subscription. Those who can afford it still prefer to not spend so much money on a Netflix subscription. A month of Premium costs $18 which sums up close to $216 annually.  Thus, the internet is flooded with questions on how to watch Netflix for free. While most answers to this question talk about the most obvious answers like trying the free trial, I’ll show you an actual working way you can try for yourself to watch Netflix for free on Android, along with all the other obvious ways.  Read on to know the ways you can stream Netflix movies and shows for free on Android.

Here’s How to Watch Netflix For Free

Free Trial And Repeat!

Well, this is the most common method to watch Netflix for free on Android. You can try a one month free Netflix trial before opting to use their service.  To try the free one month Netflix trial, all you have to do is, sign up to a new Netflix account with your email address and card details. Once the one month free trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the Premium subscription.  The catch here is to cancel the Premium subscription before the free trial ends. Note the date when the subscription is supposed to be renewed and cancel the membership well in advance.  Not just once, you can try the free trial multiple times by using the email address Netflix offers to users who have used the first free trial. Note that this offer might not be available to everyone, but you can give it a shot. To get more free trials, sign up again after a year of your first free trial and you will find yourself fortunate enough for another free month of Netflix. Beyond this, you can use multiple email addresses and cards from different IP addresses to avail yourself of the free one month Netflix trial.   For this, you can use either your secondary email address and other cards or your siblings’ or friends’ card information. While you can’t stream Netflix for free forever, you get some solid few months of free Netflix streaming. And this way, you can save a lot of money while still streaming the shows and movies you are forced to watch due to peer pressure 😉 How was that for a way to watch Netflix for free? Thank me later! Note that the free trial is no longer available for streamers in the US. If you reside outside the US, you can easily try the free one month Netflix trial. If you are from the States, you may have to use a VPN for another country to sign up for the free trial.

Try Watched Multimedia Browser

Note: Mod apps are not legal to download and that’s why they aren’t listed in the Play Store. For more information, read Netflix’s terms of use and terms and conditions. We, at JoyofAndroid, are not responsible for any legal action that might be taken in case of improper use of Netflix service. Watched is the most popular multimedia browser in the world. It combines the experience of multimedia streaming and a browser offering endless possibilities for free online streaming.  The app offers basic and a premium version to stream content online, including Netflix.  Here’s how to stream Netflix for free on the Watched app. Step 1: Install the Watched app on your Android phone  Step 2: On the top right corner, tap on the + icon if available. Or else look for the URL field in the app, which will usually appear on the home screen.  Step 3: Now, in the field for the URL, type Huhu.to . It is an add-on server for Netflix on Watched app. Step 4: After entering the URL for Netflix, tap on Browse. Step 5: You’ll see the Netflix shows and movies repository. Pick your favorite one and start streaming Netflix for free.  The app is also available for download on Windows, Mac, Linux, and AppGallery. The premium ad-free version of the app is available for $24.41 annually.   Not only Netflix, you can also stream a few other streaming services for free on Watched. The app works just fine and even the speed doesn’t take a hit. So to sum it up, Watched provides a hassle-free streaming experience based on my personal experience with it.

Stream Your Favorite Netflix Content for Free

These were the three best ways you can stream amazing content online for free. In particular, through the Watched app, you can access all the content on Netflix for free for an indefinite period – unlike the free trial method which allows you to stream free content for a month plus a couple more using multiple email addresses and cards.  Nonetheless, there are other great streaming services you can switch to for more free content. Again, if you aren’t willing to spend on them, a free trial is the way to go.  Watched app works on most Android devices, so you can check it for yourself. Among the methods mentioned above, my personal pick is the multimedia browser Watched.  I hope this article brought some value to your Android usage and streaming experience. Let me know in the comments section below if you could successfully try a free one month trial and if the Watched app was helpful in streaming Netflix for free. Take care and stay safe! Cheers!
