When you find yourself needing apps and other capabilities outside of Android, you are tempted to get a second handset model – this time choosing iPhone. There was a time when file transfer from Android to iPhone was an impossible task. This is because iOS and Android are two separate operating systems and–up to this point–incompatible with each other. That’s no longer the case these days. With the fast advancement in technology, there are now multiple ways you can transfer data from Android to iOS. Here are three of the easiest methods to try:
1. Move to iOS
Move to iOS is an app that lets you transfer data from Android to iPhone quickly and easily. You can download the app from Google Play Store. It can’t help you move your passwords, apps, and music but it does a pretty good job of calendars, contacts, photos, videos, and text messages. The Move to iOS app supports tablets and phones that run Android 4.0 + and iOS 9. Before you get started, make sure to do the following:
Turn on the Wi-Fi on your Android deviceMake sure that your iPhone and your Android device is plugged into a power sourceCheck to see if your iPhone has enough storage to hold the data that you will transfer from the Android phoneIf you want to transfer your bookmarks as well, make sure that you download the latest update of Chrome onto your Android device

ShareIt is a wonderful app that is available on both Android and iOS. The great thing about this app is that it can transfer any type of file whether it be photos, videos, apps, games, you name it. In our opinion, it is a much better option than Move to iOS since it lets you transfer your entire file system into your new iPhone. In contrast, Move to iOS will only allow you to transfer your regular files. Before you begin, make sure that you download and install ShareIt on both your iPhone and Android phone. Similar to Move to iOS, you also need to make sure that your iPhone has enough storage to hold all of the files and apps that you are about to transfer.
Transfer Process
Open the ShareIt app from both your Android and iPhoneTap the Send ButtonSelect all the files and apps that you want to transfer to your iPhoneWhen a radar-like screen starts to show up, click on the three-dotted menuSelect Connect to iOSTap Continue when the pop-up appears

3. Use Dropbox
Dropbox is a modern, cloud workspace that lets you store your files on the cloud server so that you can access them on the go. It’s often used by companies to enable their team to access company information and data in a centralized location. But you can also use it for your personal files. The latter will enable you to access your files on any device through the Dropbox app.
Transfer Process
A word of advice before you get started: make sure that your iPhone has enough memory to store all the files that you will be transferring. Depending on how many files you’ll be transferring, it would be best to do so after fully charging your iPhone.

Pro Tip: Unless these files are needed to edit while on your phone, you can just opt to save them for offline use. The files will not be saved on your iPhone, just on your Dropbox app but you’ll still be able to access them offline.
