Sometimes all you need to do is copy the content to your android device and that’s it. Android will take care of the rest almost every time. For example if you have your wedding video on a CD, you can simply rip the content and put it on your smartphone. Android has truly made things easier for the common user. However sometimes you have really large resolution movies and a relatively lighter smartphone. For example why would you watch a 4K movie on a 1080p screen. That will not only take a toll on the Android device but also hog a lot of space. Thankfully we can convert videos for Android screen size with ease too. This article will be your guide in getting videos from your PC to your smartphone , in a well optimized manner.

Method 1: Just Copy It

With Android there is always an easy way to do things. If you are here just because you are worried that your low end smartphone won’t be able to play full HD videos, don’t be. The thing is almost every slightly modern Android device can do that. Follow the method below to make sure your device is not a cheap Chinese knock off phone with faked specs.

Step 1:

Download any of the best video players for Android. I recommend my personal favorite MX Player. It is one of the best players out there which supports almost every main stream format there is.

Step 2:

Now simply connect your smartphone to your PC and copy some videos on your Android device.

Step 3:

Back on your android, start the video player you just downloaded.

Step 4:

The player will automatically find any new videos on your device.

Step 5:

Tap on a video to play it on your Android device.

Step 6:

Simply resize the video to fit your screen and have a great viewing experience. Some players are also able to remove the black bars from the video and give you a full view.

Step 7:

Rejoice because you don’t have to convert every video you want to watch. This is Android after all.

Method 2: Get A Converter

If for some reason you are not satisfied with the first method, there is a slightly harder alternative. This is not hard because the steps are difficult to follow, it’s hard because converting videos require a fast PC as well as ample time. On my Core i7 Quad Core processor and 8 GB of RAM it took almost 13 minutes to convert a 30 minute video.

Step 1:

This will involve getting a small software downloaded on your Windows or Mac based PC. I recommend Any Video Converter because it has served me extremely well in my PSP movie watching days. Plus the converter is essentially free and comes with some great presets.

Step 2:

Download the app from the Download.com link. It’s really easy, you just need to download and run the setup and it will take care of the rest.

Step 3:

After the app is downloaded on your PC, run it. Any Video Converter has a great way of introducing new people to the program.

Step 4:

After you have gotten familiarized by the interface, check if your device is listed in the drop down menu. If it isn’t there is no need to worry, select the closest one to your device (resolution wise) and you will be fine. Advanced users can set-up their own screen resolutions.

Step 5:

Now tap on the big blue Add button to convert videos for Android.

Step 6:

After the files have been added to the queue, tap on the Convert Now button to start the process. The process can take a while so I suggest you play one of the best RPG games on Android to keep yourself entertained.

Step 7:

After the videos are converted, all you need to do is copy them to your device and enjoy.

Conclusion

Well now you definitely know how to convert videos for Android screen size. These methods are not hard to follow. I know the second method can be a little difficult for new users but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier. If it doesn’t get easier, well I’m here to help you with any problem you face.
