I’m one of those guys who doesn’t like to wear any accessories so; Android wear is not for me. However, if you like to add on to your existing Android experience, it is one of the best ways to do so. I’m equally impressed by how the companies are designing their smart watches as well as how rapidly they are improving them. While Google has been trying to make Android wear more accessible to common folk, it has failed on one front. Of course, I’m talking about the Google play store, which doesn’t exactly make it easy to spot apps that are compatible with Android Wear. No, I’m not going to be rude the whole description about the app to learn whether it’s going to be working on Android wear or not. Thankfully, Smartwatch Center does all of that for you. This app is highly rated on the Google play store simply because it streamlines the process that Google should’ve done in the first place. Launching an app on Android Wear watches is a pain, simply because you have to scroll through the app drawer. With this launcher on your side, you’ll be able to launch all your favorite apps from anywhere on the watch. You don’t have to remember the name or scroll through different lists just to launch a singular app now. That’s not all; you’ll also be able to access the settings quickly with a double swipe gesture as well as change the brightness of the device. Launch the app, tap on the screen and your phone will start ringing. Alternatively, you can say, “Okay Google, start, find my phone” and you’ll achieve pretty much the same result. There is nothing incredibly innovative or remarkable about this app, but it is amazingly helpful if you are the forgetful kind. 4. PixtoCam for Android Wear

This is a nifty little app if you use your smartphone for photography. If you are constantly putting your smartphone on a stand and taking pictures, this is the app you should get immediately. The app allows you to get a real-time preview on your Smartwatch. It doesn’t even require any action on your smartphone to work as well. All you need to do is simply say, “Start viewfinder” and the app will launch automatically. You’ll also be able to set the picture resolution as well as the video profiles. 5. Runtastic Running & Fitness

Well, no best Android Wear app list will be complete without a fitness app. Runtastic is a fantastic running app even if you don’t own an Android Wear watch. However, if you do happen to have a smart watch this app really shines. Simply having the luxury of looking at your wrist and knowing the stats is amazing. I’m one of those people who is scared to take out their Android smartphone while running and this app seems to be a great solution.
