The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is one of the two flagships released almost a year ago by Samsung. The S7 and S7 Edge will replace the S6 models completely, but until that time comes, there are some great accessories you can use to enhance your current Galaxy flagship device. We scoured the internet for the best Samsung Galaxy S6 accessories I could find. Here is what we came up with.

1. SanDisk 16/32/64 GB Wireless USB

The Galaxy S6 Edge was very well received, mostly for its new design. But, this new choice of build materials which set out to replace the old, flimsy ones came with a catch. The S6 Edge doesn’t support expandable storage. To tackle that particular issue, this USB—which is wireless—is extremely convenient. It is convenient in the sense that it helps you to store, share, and stream various files from your USB to your smartphone. 8 users can simultaneously use the device at any one time, and it uses Wi-Fi to do what it does. So that means no cables or data connection required. It can run up to 4 hours on a single charge, and you use the browser to access your files. You can also have the choice to integrate an (optional) password for additional protection, as well. You can charge it using the USB 2.0 port on it. You’d probably want the 64 gig version, which is priced at $92. But, the 16 gig version and the 32 gig versions are also available, and are priced at $45 and $58, respectively.

But, there’s a catch, though. Cables are almost always faster than wireless data transfer, so to tackle that issue, we have the…

2. SanDisk Ultra 16/32/64/128 GB Micro-USB Flash Drive

This flashdrive is quite unconventional because the SanDisk Ultra Micro-USB flashdrive connects directly to your smartphone. That’s right folks, directly to your USB-Port. It essentially acts as how any typical flashdrive would work on a PC. It acts as additional storage for your smartphone. Albeit, it has one more trick up its sleeve. It has 2 ports! You can connect one end to your PC, while the other end would be used to connect to your smartphone. It integrates the latest and greatest in USB technology, USB 3.0, which lets you transfer files 130 MB per second. Now, that’s fast! This lets you store any type of files and allows you to access them on your smartphone without any hiccups. Movies, music, pictures, you name it! So, what about the pricing? The 128 gig model retails for $39.95, while the 16 gig, 32 gig, and 64 gig versions are priced at $8, $12, and $16 respectively.

These 2 products will help you outright with any storage problems you’re most likely to go through with your smartphone. Mostly, because you can’t expand your storage after you purchase it.

3. Samsung Level Box Bluetooth Wireless Speaker

Speakers are a distinctive part of our culture nowadays, and this is due to the fact that they have become so easy to use. Namely, Bluetooth speakers. The Samsung Level Box also integrates NFC into the mix, that is, Near Field Communication. Your smartphone can automatically connect to the speaker just by placing it near the speaker. Now, that is convenient! If your smartphone is not compatible with NFC, no worries! You can still use Bluetooth to connect to the speaker with just one tap.The speaker is elegantly designed, stylish, and sleek. It consists of a metal grille, along with a brushed metal design, which is both premium and also complements your style. Did I mention that it is extremely compact? This portability is extremely convenient. You can carry this speaker around, without it feeling like a burden.Like all Bluetooth speakers, you need to recharge the speaker from time to time. But, the battery also tackles this issue by providing you, the end-user, with 15 hours of playback on a single charge. The Samsung Level Box retails for $169. Albeit, on the more costly side, at the time of writing, you can avail this premium speaker for just $60.

4. Anker 2nd Gen Astro3 External Battery

Another fatal flaw for the renewed design of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is the smaller battery. I mean, come on! A 2,600 mAh battery for a flagship device?!? At this point, you might want to consider other smartphones with great battery life (insert article link). But, this is not an unsolvable issue. This is where the Anker Astro3 portable charger comes in. So, what’s new in the second generation of this charger? Well, specs first. The Anker 2nd Gen Astro3 is 12,000 mAh portable charger. It is quite robust and the matte finish is really smooth to touch. You also get a travel bag, and a complementary micro-USB cable along with the package. It has 4 ports, and the Power IQ technology which is integrated into it allows for smart distribution of power. This means that you’ll get the maximum amount of power when your device is plugged in. It turns on in the coolest way possible. You have to shake the Power bank in order to activate it. It also has 10 LED indicators, each notifying you at 10% charge intervals. The Anker Astro3 is priced at $80.

5. Urban Armor Gear Case

The final flaw, which is not totally bad, is the S6 edge’s build materials. This thing is more slip-prone than any other smartphone on the market right now. One of the best cases for your Samsung Galaxy S6, among many others (insert article link) the Urban Armor Gear S6 Case, possesses a feather-light composite construction made of an armor-based shell and an impact-resistant soft core. With an HD screen protector that resists scratches pretty well, it protects your smartphone, alright. It also integrates over sized tactile buttons for ease of use and has a ruggedized grip. It meets military drop-test standards, and the scratch resistant skid pads, coupled with the screen protector, it surrounds the whole smartphone, including the screen. User reviews are positive (and comical, too) with one user claiming that his smartphone was hard to find in the dark, and while yet another said that his screen cracked from a 3 feet drop. These reviews are meant to be taken with a grain of salt.

CONCLUSION

The smartphone you purchase is not the only thing for that smartphone. You can customize it without limits with the endless amounts of accessories available to purchase for it. However, this is not an exhaustible list. Again, this list is completely arbitrary, and if you think we missed out on anything, feel free to let us know in the comments section below.   Featured Image Credit
