There was a period of time when Motorola just didn’t seem to show much interest in the mobile phone game or they couldn’t figure out how to beat out competitors like Apple or Samsung. Well, the Motorola brand is obviously back, and they are pumping out some of the coolest phones you can find on the market. Motorola smartphones are sleek and powerful, and they even have a few options for those who want to save a bit of money. Let’s take a look at the best Motorola Android phones so you can spend your money wisely. Must Read: Android Phones – Every Android Users Must Know About

1. Motorola Droid RAZR M: $132.00

The Motorola Droid RAZR M is your best bet in my opinion, since the price is rather low, and you don’t have to worry about getting a junky phone from a knockoff manufacturer. Yes, this phone is a little dated, but if you really want something powerful for a good price, this is the best value. The phone is a little heavy and clunky, but the processor is powerful and the camera is one of the best you can find on any phone. Checkout the best ROMs for the RAZR M after this. Why should you buy it?

2. Motorola Droid X: $79.95

The Motorola Droid X is another older Motorola phone that is still worth the money today. I’m not a huge fan of the design, since it has some weird crevices in the back that build up dust and dirt, but you can buy the phone used for a mere $35. That’s not a bad deal, especially if you only plan on using this as a second phone or a first phone for one of the kids. Why should you buy it?

3. Motorola Atrix 4G MB860: $155.00

The Motorola Atrix 4G MB860 looks like a piece of junk, but I put it on this list because you can get a used version for no more than $50. They even come refurbished for around that price. Although I wouldn’t buy this phone new, it’s a decent phone if you plan on getting something for the kids or if you don’t need all the craziness of newer smartphones. The camera is actually pretty nice and the keyboard is completely virtual, so you don’t get crumbs stuck in the keys. Why should you buy it?

4. Motorola Droid RAZR 4G LTE: $119.99

The Motorola Droid RAZR 4G LTE comes in as one of the sexiest Motorola phones they have ever come out with. The bent-back design fits nicely in your hand and it even has some ridges on the back so the phone stays put while you are working out or just moving about the office. The display is striking, and the battery lasts a reasonable time. The only problem I have with this phone is that the bent back is a little weird in your pocket. It’s a clunky phone, but most Motorola phones are. Why should you buy it?

5. Motorola Photon 4G MB855: $119.99

The Motorola Photon 4G MB855 is one of the phones on this list I had never heard of before, but it actually made me realize that it’s perfect for those who want to save a little money while still getting the functionality of some of the other more expensive options. The CPU and processing is perfect for multitasking and the screen is large enough to enjoy your favorite movies and TV shows. Why should you buy it?

6. Motorola XT760: $99.99

The Motorola XT760 is one of the hidden gems because it has the perfect size to fit in your hand perfectly. It’s a little shorter than the traditional Motorola phone designs, but remember that this phone is one of the cheaper builds you can find. Although all the functionality is there for a nice price, I wouldn’t want to drop this thing on the ground. Why should you buy it?

7. Motorola Atrix 2 4G: $129.00

The Motorola Atrix 2 4G is nothing to laugh about, since the design is simple, but super functional. The texture on the back works well to hold it in your hand, and the screen is rather bright for watching videos and looking at photos. Why should you buy it?

8. Motorola Moto X: $299.99

The Motorola Moto X is one of the newer offerings from Motorola, and they pack all the features you need into the stylish device. Why should you buy it?

9. Motorola DROID Turbo: $249.99

The Motorola DROID Turbo is one of my favorites on the list because it features a stunning display, which makes it nice for watching movies and my TV shows. The Turbo charge function works to help your battery last all day, and the phone comes in multiple colors, all of them with a sleek design. Why should you buy it?

10. Motorola Moto G: $179.18

The Motorola Moto G has a mediocre processor for its price, but the true value comes in with the size and display of the device. Enjoy stunning photos with the dual cameras, and experience long-lasting battery life. Why should you buy it?

Conclusion

Not all Motorola Android phones are created equally, but hopefully this list helps you understand the pros and cons of each one. As you can see I really like the Motorola Droid RAZR M, but I’m also a cheap skate. Let me know in the comments section if you have any questions about the best Motorola phones. What’s next?
